EO Contractualization ni Duterte Walang Kwenta Ayon kay Villarin

Kumakailan pinirmahan na ni Pangulong Duterte ang executive order kontra sa kontraktwalisasyon, ngunit sa kabila nito tila mayroon hindi nasiyahan dito.

Isa na nga dito si Akbayan party-list Rep. Tom Villarin, dahil ayon sa kanya hindi naman daw ito ang hinihingi ng mga tao at ang mga nakasaad sa order na ito ay kasalukuyan na ding naka sulat sa batass. Kaya nangangahulugan na wala daw kwenta ang pagpirma dito.



"Ang gusto sana nating policies direct hiring meaning that all jobs should be presumed regular jobs. Employees go through a probationary period and after 6 months of probationary period, they should be hired as regular employees," sabi ni Villarin

Dagdag pa nito na wala daw sinabi sa executive order 51 tungkol sa pag-aanunsyo ng regular na trabaho, bagkus ang nakalagay daw dito ay ang kasiguraduhan lang ng "tenureship, self-organization and collective bargaining at peaceful concerted activites" na alinsunod na sa 1987 Philippine Constitution.

Paliwanag pa ni Villarin na ang labor code daw ngayon ay nagbibigay lang ng kapangyarihan sa Secretary of Labor and Employment na ipagbawal ang labor contracting, ngunit hindi daw nila ito ginagawa bagkus sila lamang daw ang nagpapatupad.
