DDS donates P1.5M to charity

The Diehard Duterte Supporters (DDS) Global took up the initiative to gather pro-government Filipinos nationally and internationally to organize and donate P1.5 million to two beneficiaries last July 12 at Camp Crame, Quezon City.

"We did the first time in Davao City, that was themed Pasalamat sa Presidente. This time we're doing the Pasasalamat sa Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines and Judiciary," Gemma Sotto, president of the Diehard Duterte Supporters Global, said.

The Pasasalamat project of OFW chapters worldwide donated to the House of Hope Foundation for Kids with Cancer and Philippine Association of Court Employees in the spirit of support to President Rodrigo Duterte’s initiatives, policies, and change.

"We feel the difference. Because we trust and we have hope that it's different, we want to show our appreciation," Sotto said.

Organized and participated by OFWs coming from 19 countries, including United States, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Australia, and United Kingdom, the event was actively supported by the government.

ALEX GATCHALIAN- South of France and Monaco, MARILYN PAPAS- Paris , DANILO ROBLES - GREECE, ELOUIS RAFREIDER and GING-GING ODERMATT - Switzerland, LOUIE VERGOC and Adeline Descallar Santos - MILAN, Italy, MARIA ELIZABETH OLGA BRITON FAMORCAN -TM EUROPE ORGANISER THEN THE GLOBAL PRESIDENT GEMMA SOTTO.

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde, Department of Intertior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Epimaco Densing III, Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA_ Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac, and OWWA Deputy Administrator Arnell Ignacio were among the government officials who were present.
