With the unexpected return of former Iloilo Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog just this Wednesday, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte plans to give this alleged drug-tied mayor who was out of the country for quite a while, a warm welcome.

“Saan ang mayor ninyo dito? Saan na ‘yung pinalitan mo Mayor? Saan ba si Mayor?” Duterte said with extreme concern for Mabilog.

Duterte then revealed his big surprise for the former Mayor by stating,

“Sinabi ko sa kanila, ‘magbalik ka dito sa… T*** i*****, patayin talaga kita’,” he added.

The President has this deeply rooted anger for the said narco-politician since he was alleged to be a protector of drug syndicates within the province. He is also the reason why his home town turned into a “shabu-lized” province.

Mabilog, on the other hand, gave an alibi for his immediate flee from the Philippines when he was accused of his involvement with illegal drugs. He stated that he left due to a health problem and is in need of immediate medical treatment. But soon after leaving, Mabilog failed to declare his true wealth and was soon ousted out of his position by the Office of the Ombudsman.

Recalling Duterte’s speech to the citizens of Iloilo he warned that,

“Itong mga mayors ganito. If you are into drugs, you better shape up. Huwag mong patayin ‘yung mga pulis na ayaw sumama sa racket mo.”

The President also condemned these narco-mayors who would have policemen and soldiers killed if they won’t align with their drug empire.

“Kasi ‘pag ginalaw mo ‘yung pulis — military, individually they are helpless. Pero kung ang gobyerno na kalaban mo, p****** i** patay ka talaga,” he added.
