The Department of Justice Prosecutor who was involved in a commotion with the traffic enforcers will be facing cases pushed by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority. Bong Nebrija the MMDA Commander TF Special Operations confirmed this in a radio interview. He said that in spite of the public apology that they issued the prosecutor would still face the grievances.

In the radio interview, the couple who yelled belittled and almost harmed the traffic enforcers due to a simple traffic violation approached him and apologize.

Nebrija told DZBB, “Personal silang humingi ng apology sa akin.”

The public apology, however, is not sufficient for the MMDA to save the prosecutor from facing charges against him.

“Tuloy ang kaso, direct assault,” he said.

Nebrija and Prosecutor Christine Estepa conflicted after Estepa refused to surrender her driver’s license to the enforcers; she also tried to get away from the authorities several times and put the lives of some enforces  because of this, she even damaged one service vehicle of the MMDA..

Estepa demanded that the enforcers should first show evidences that her car was already idled for five minutes, this made the people in the Social Media to call her ‘5 minutes girl.” Blogger Gadget Addict was the one who captured the incident and it went viral on Social media. Estapa drew in with her criticizers on her Facebook account.

Estapa will be facing lawsuits for physical assault and could likewise face disbarment, as indicated by MMDA. Menardo Guevarra DOJ Secretary added that he was already mindful by the controversy faced by one of their prosecutors and he mentioned that he would allow her to clarify her side. While the Land Transportation Office thinks about the potential outcomes to cancel or suspend the Driver’s license of the prosecutor.
