"The view from our masters bedroom balcony.

"A view that I will very soon be waking up to. I am already imagining all the many new memories we will be making here.

"The last photo is my favorite place in the house. Love all the different textures and materials used."

"This makes me look back at the time we were building our first home...

"I can still remember it like it was just yesterday. Here we are again, standing in front of a new home that we will be moving in in a few months.

"I am so thankful that I have such a hands on husband when it comes to the construction of our house and making sure everything is meticulously done.

Being hands on with this project gives a lot of headaches. A lot! The floor plan, I had such a big hand on, in fact based on the property layout, I was the one who conseptualized the shape that would best fit the lot that would best take advantage of the view. But I enjoy the process. I love the feeling of knowing exactly what are behind the walls and where everything are placed. Even how reinforced the walls are, the foundation, wiring placements, and picking quality materials. My contract with my engineer is just a structural one, so this gives me the freedom to choose my desired finishes from tiles, ceiling, all the way to the roofing, instead of just giving a full amount to a contractor . And yes, no interior designer for us. Just Chesca and I. But she leaves it most to me since she trusts my taste. Our house will be something different. A modern rustic feel. Lots of wood, stone, and with industrial touches. Lots of open space and the most important, fresh air and surrounding trees! The infinity pool facing multiple cities will be the icing on the cake! ☝️🏡

"I have nothing to do with this. I just come with him every now and then and I am surprised each and every time..."
